About Us
Who We Are
- We are a Los Angeles, California based 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization incorporated in 1996 for the benefit of the less fortunate children.
- Baya Bolya founded Love for the Children Foundation after a trip to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other Third World countries in the mid 1990's, there, she witnessed children and young adults under the age of 15 die every day by lack of food, water, shelter and basic medical care. , it was a transforming experience during which she learned that the most elementary medical intervention could mean the difference between life and death.
- Many children around the world do not have access to basic needs, such as food, education and guaranteed shelter.
- Their biggest hope is simply to be able to live in decent conditions.
- We are presently working on projects to ensure the frequent interest and well-being of children, particularly in less favored environments particularly in DRC where we are committed to bring real and lasting change to children living in poverty.

Our Goals
- Our Goals are to work toward the elimination of needless suffering and hardship, inflicted upon vulnerable children, caused by chronic poverty, economics, war, and political instability.
- with the objective to provide much needed medicine, medical supplies to hospitals, provide food to thousands of children suffering for malnutrition, teaching values of nutrition and hygiene to mothers, provide permanent home to our orphans, reduce their daily struggles, invest in their potential, and provide them with the opportunity to grow up healthy, educated and prepared to succeed and contribute to society.
We Need You
- The World is such a big community that needs help, "It takes a village,” is a such a true statement and a staple of community activism. We need to show compassion, will and drive to help those less fortunate. Your compassion may come from direct or indirect experience with different circumstances. This compassion can also derive from imagining the pain, sorrow, and helplessness that those children may endure, being unable to live a simple and happy life.
